Abbotsford – On December 23, 2017(10PM), a package containing drugs and tobacco was seized after being dropped by a drone at Matsqui medium security federal institution.
The total estimated institutional value of this seizure is $26,500.
The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) introduced a complete smoking ban in all federal correctional institutions in 2008.
