Abbotsford’s Alexander Elementary Fundraiser – Drive4UR School – September 23

Abbotsford – Abbotsford mom Megan Steenhuisen has the kids at Alexander Elementary School involved in a cool cross Canada promotion. It is a national fundraiser with Ford Canada so the school can add a memorial piece of playground equipment. Megan is the PAC President of the School.

Megan told FVN: “I am trying to spread the word and make this event a success. We are trying to raise money for a piece of playground equipment that we will place in memory of my husband who was also a PAC parent (Parents Advisory Council) who was killed in May 2016 in Grande Prairie Alberta. He left behind three small kids. I have attached the link below if there is anyway you can help us out!! Do not need to attend the event or even drive. Just need it to be one entry per address.”

Launched in Canada in 2010, the Drive 4UR School and Drive 4UR Community programs are Ford’s pillar test drive fundraising programs. They are a fun and exciting way to engage schools and local community causes and support their fundraising efforts. Ford Dealerships partner with a local school or community organization to conduct a test drive event together. For every valid test drive completed at the event, Ford of Canada donates $20 to the cause – up to a maximum of $6,000.
