Chilliwack – Chilliwack Hospice outgrew is comfy little home that was across from Prospera Centre and has moved to a new and larger space in Sardis.
Located at 7112 Vedder Road, it is the former home of the Sardis bureau of Chilliwack Community Services.
Executive Director Sue Attrill praised staff and volunteers for years of fundraising through the Hospice and the Hospice Thrift Store, in securing the new digs.
The two floor complex has more room for counseling rooms for adults as well as children, who are dealing with their personal loss.
Chilliwack Hospice is looking for donations of furniture, in particular, sofas and chair for adults and children.
