Chilliwack RCMP – Drugs, Weapons From July Raids

Chilliwack –  Drugs and firearms were seized after two RCMP investigations led to the execution of a search warrants in July. 

On July 17, 2017 investigators from the Chilliwack Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) supported by the Chilliwack Prolific Offender Suppression Team (POST) executed a Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA) search warrant of properties in the 50000-block of O’Byrne Road where around 4,500 marijuana plants were seized by police.  

On July 26, 2017 executed a search warrant in the 41000-block of Yarrow Central Road. During the search a significant amount of drugs along with cash, a loaded handgun and ammunition were seized by officers.  Two men arrested during the search were released on site by police.
