The Pattullo Bridge will close at 9PM Friday July 14, and won’t re-open until 5AM Monday morning.
Pot holes on the South end of the bridge have to be repaired.
The ol’ girl is 30 years past her shelf life and the process to replace her is at a crawl.
In a perfect world, and the various levels of funding are approved, construction for a new crossing is expected to start in 2019.
Sadly, we have heard all that before.
