Harrison – JUNE 13 UPDATE – The 39th Harrison Festival of the Arts will be celebrating the land and peoples of Canada this year, with a strong representation of performers from across the country, and from a range of cultural communities from coast to coast to coast.
“The Harrison Festival has always aimed to have a lineup that includes mostly Canadian performers, alongside international representation,” says artistic director, Andy Hillhouse. “This year is particularly Canadian in focus. Our hall show lineup this year is entirely Canadian, which is unusual. Artists are coming to the festival from the breadth of Canada, from north, south, east, and west.”
APRIL 13 ORIGINAL STORY – The 2017 Harrison Festival of the Arts roaster is set and tickets are ready to go on sale for not only the festival, tickets are also available for the regular season of music, theatre and art.
The roster can be found here. It includes Colin Linden (always a fan favorite), Diyet and Paul McKenna / Rura. The Festival is July 8-16.
The website for the Festival has been updated as well and is much easier to navigate.
The Annual fundraiser with the R&B All Stars is also coming up May 26.
