Chilliwack – On Tuesday (April 18, 2017 at 10 AM) Chilliwack Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the apartment building in the 9100 block of Charles Street.
A neighbour saw black smoke venting from the apartment and called the fire department.
The people inside the apartment tried to kill the fire themselves as Fire crews arrived.
There was minor fire damage and smoke damage to the unit.
It appears smoking materials created the fire.
No one was hurt.
