Chilliwack -JANUARY 18 UPDATE – Sales of units for the Midtown project are now on sale. Kevin Alexander, Homelife Glenayre Realty/MidTown Sales Team emailed FVN stating that the first 10 units are on sale with the listing price of $384,900.
NOVEMBER 26, 2016 UPDATE – The Midtown development is coming along with the site preparation. The old UFV campus on Yale Road is slowly transforming into a housing and school complex. Van Maren Construction has the task of making this grans transformation.
Project Manager Eric Van Maren informed FVN with an update: We continue to make progress at MidTown. The off site roads are now well under construction and we will be starting the services for the first townhouse project next week. We expect the city to issue a building permit for the first townhouse project by early December and we will then start on the buildings. We expect that we will have townhomes for sale by late January.
At this time, we don’t have any plans to start the rental apartment building.

From the earlier FVN story: MidTown, is the name the developers have for its latest project on 13 acres of land, and which includes 42 small-lot single family homes, up to 150 townhouses and space for a rental apartment building with 80-plus units.
There is also a plan for Cascade Christian School to move onto the site.
