Coroner ID’s Abbotsford Man Killed In Hope Area MVA

Fraser Valley – The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a male who died after a motor vehicle incident near Hope on December 15, 2016.

He was Jason Cousins, aged 46, of Abbotsford.

Cousins was the driver and sole occupant of a jeep that was heading eastbound on Highway 1 at about 2 p.m. on December 15, when, near the Laidlaw exit, it left the highway, hit a light standard and rolled. Mr. Cousins was deceased at the scene.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
