Chilliwack – This year, a change for the Chilliwack Party in the Park. Over the past couple of years, finances and Mother Nature have hit the park organizers hard.
The Chilliwack BIA – Business Improvement Association, have held the event every Friday night through July and August.
Last year it was paired down from 8 Friday’s to just four, but the middle shows were rained out.
This year, they’re trying something a little different.
Party in the Park is the four Friday’s in July, so there is no conflict with the major August events, Abbotsford and Chilliwack’s Airshow, the Agrifair and the Chilliwack Fair.

The 2016 Party in the Park will be held on 4 consecutive Fridays in July.
Party dates are July 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th.

New this year is the Downtown Pop-Up Market on Wellington Ave, offering a variety of unique vendors and artisans.
The Food Fair will once again be serving up the great tastes of local restaurants and specialty food trucks, but in a new location along Mill Street this July.
