10 Day Kent Lockdown Over

Kent/Agassiz – A ten-day lockdown ended Sunday at the maximum security Kent Institution in the Fraser Valley.

A release from the prison says the lockdown began May 6th to allow staff to conduct what is called an exceptional search.
Assistant warden Sheila Collett confirms a number of unauthorized items, including tattoo paraphernalia and contraband, were seized.
