Mission – A Canada-wide warrant has been issued today for Blane Donald McDougal who escaped from Ferndale Institution in Mission, B.C. back in 2008.
The 68-year-old is wanted for escaping lawful custody, and was serving a 35-year sentence for murder at the time of his escape from the minimum security facility.
He is among six other criminals who have fled the facility since 1994.
McDougal is a violent offender with a history of sexual assault and kidnapping, including the rape of two women while out on parole for one day.
