Abbotsford, BC – On Wednesday, November 25 between 6:30 and 8:30 am, the Abbotsford Police Department will be giving away free vehicle anti-theft devices at the Park and Ride located at King and McCallum Roads.
The devices will be provided to any Abbotsford resident who owns a pre-2004 Honda, Acura, Toyota, Ford, Chrysler or Jeep vehicle. These vehicles are the most commonly stolen in the city and do not come with factory alarm systems or immobilizers. We believe by providing free anti-theft devices to the owners of these vehicles, we can work with the community to reduce auto theft.
Previous giveaways have been a huge success and we strongly encourage eligible Abbotsford owners to arrive early as quantities of the devices are limited. Please ensure you have your vehicle registration documents to show our staff as proof of residency and the eligibility of your vehicle.
