Abbotsford, BC – The Abbotsford Police Foundation (APF) presents its first annual breakfast-fundraising event “Crime is Toast” on October 28, 2015. Funds raised will support the Abbotsford Police Department and its goal of making Abbotsford the Safest City in BC.
Abbotsford is well known as a generous, community-oriented city. This fact has been clearly demonstrated, as the event’s fundraising goal of $40,000 is within reach.
With the inaugural event just over three weeks away, the APF is delighted with the show of community support through sponsorship and event ticket sales.
The breakfast, with APD Chief Constable Bob Rich, will build awareness of public safety, the work of the APD, and the Abbotsford Police Foundation. APF President Kevin Boonstra invites you to attend and bring along your colleagues, family and friends to show support for the great work of the brave men and women of the Abbotsford Police Department.
There is also an opportunity for you to get in on the ground floor and show your support as a sponsor for this high-profile event. “We’re working hard to make sure that Crime is Toast. We invite you to join us” Your contribution will fund equipment, technology and programs which will assist our police department with their important public-safety endeavours.
Crime is Toast will be held at the Abbotsford Ramada on October 28, 2015 from 7:00 – 9:30 AM. To purchase tickets and for information on remaining sponsorship opportunities, visit the APF website: www.abbypf,ca
