Chilliwack , BC – The annual Chilliwack Quintessence Breastfeeding Challenge strives to increase public awareness of the normalcy of breastfeeding, the benefits to mother, child and community and the ways in which women need support to achieve the recommended duration for breastfeeding.
Chilliwack had 213 babies breastfeeding simultaneously last year, putting us in first place out of 215 sites worldwide!
They will be hosting the 15th annual Quintessence Breastfeeding Challenge in Chilliwack on Saturday, October 3rd and are expecting close to 200 mothers and babies this October as they attempt to defend their title of 1st in the world for the most breastfed babies at one time.
