Chilliwack, BC – One man is in custody after being arrested on an outstanding warrant by police on Tuesday afternoon (August 25, 2015 at around 2:00 p.m).
Officers of the RCMP Crime Reduction Unit observed Beau Lawrence Clark, age 36, of Chilliwack inside of a vehicle being driven in the downtown area of the city.
“A warrant of arrest for Attempt Murder had been issued by Provincial Court for Clark and police were following reports he had frequented the area,” said Cpl. Mike Rail.
The vehicle was stopped by police and Clark was arrested without incident. Clark remains in custody pending a court appearance in early September.
The warrant stemmed from the investigation into an incident reported to police on August 10, 2015 when a male was allegedly shot by the suspect while at a (Tim Hortons) restaurant in the 8200 block of Eagle Landing Parkway.
