Rosedale/Chilliwack – The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a male who died following an incident with a train in Rosedale on Sunday August 23, 2015.
He was Robert Walter Kitzel, aged 54, of no fixed address.
Mr. Kitzel was struck by CN freight train on the rail tracks in Rosedale about 1:45 p.m. on August 23, 2015. He was deceased at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate this death.
The family of Mr. Kitzel has been notified of his death. On behalf of family members, the BC Coroners Service asks that the media respect their privacy at this difficult time.
