Chilliwack Mounties Bust Alleged Drug Dealers

Chilliwack, BC –  On Tuesday July 21, 2015 at approximately 2:15 p.m. officers of the RCMP Crime Reduction Unit supported by Integrated Police Dog Services, executed a Controlled Drug and Substance search warrant for a unit of an apartment building in the 46200 block of Yale Road.

Three people from Chilliwack were arrested and later released from police custody pending further investigation.

Drugs believed to be crack cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin, and a small caliber sawed off rifle were seized by officers during the search.

“Our investigation was initiated when people in the community reported unusual activity in the area to us”, said Cpl. Mike Rail.
