Wisbey Veggies in Abbotsford – Re-opens After Fire

Abbotsford, BC (With files from Abbotsford News/Star FM) -Wisbey Veggies has reopened after a fire burned the Number 3 Road stand to the ground in June. It is in the same parking lot on #3 Road. The hours are 9-6 Saturday and Sunday. Weekdays are 10-4 for now. For more information 604-823-4617.

Crews were called to the fire at about 10 p.m., located at 40326 No. 3 Road and could easily be seen from Highway One.

The farm had apparently just opened for business on Sunday, June 14. According to its website, it offers for sale items such as local berries, apples, tomatoes and corn.

The site includes a country store, gardens and a nursery, a picnic area, playground and u-pick area.

It is owned and operated by Joy and Bruce Wisbey.
