Abbotsford BC (Abby News) Abbotsford Fire Rescue Service will hold its first Christmas in July event to raise food and money for the Abbotsford Food Bank.
It’s on Saturday, July 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m at Hall 7, 34989 Old Clayburn Rd.
Executive chef Sean Cousins of the Vancouver Club will cook up a free lunch for those who bring a bag of food or cash donation.
People are invited to drop off their donation using the drive-thru option, or park and stay awhile. Balloons, cotton candy and activities are included.
Food donations can also be dropped of at Abbotsford Save-on-Foods locations.
