AbbyPD Need Witnesses To Fatal Pedestrian Collision – Marshall and Emerson

Abbotsford – Abbotsford Police Major Crime detectives continue to seek witnesses to the fatal collision involving a dark SUV and elderly South Asian man on Tuesday August 20 (@8:30PM).

Specifically, police are seeking to speak to the driver of the van pictured below.  This light-colored van, possibly white, with business signage on the rear and a dark mark on the passenger side door, was travelling Eastbound on Marshall Road, heading towards Emerson Street.  It is likely this van crossed paths with the vehicle involved in this collision ( the 32600 block of Marshall Road.  A newer model SUV-type vehicle struck a 77-year-old South Asian male who was walking on the roadway).

Investigators would also like to speak to a South Asian female who was walking Westbound on the North side of Marshall Rd at the time of the collision.  This woman was wearing a light coloured South Asian suit with short sleeves.

The registered owner of the vehicle involved has come in to meet with Abbotsford Police.

Abbotsford Police Detectives are asking witnesses to please come forward to help provide further evidence in this investigation.
