Chiefs Place Players On All-Star And Rookie Teams

Chilliwack – Tallying up the results from a survey of the league’s broadcasters has revealed the first team, second team and all-rookie team of BCHL All-Stars.

In all, 11 teams are represented across the three teams and two players found themselves included in the rookie team as well as the one of the All-Star squads.

All of the players mentioned will be in action starting Thursday night and through the weekend as the Chevrolet BCHL Playoffs get underway.

Here are the 2019 BCHL All-Stars:

First Team
F – Alex Newhook, Victoria Grizzlies
F – Ryan Brushett, Powell River Kings
F – Kevin Wall, Chilliwack Chiefs

D – Carter Berger, Victoria Grizzlies
D – James Miller, Penticton Vees

G – Jack LaFontaine, Penticton Vees

Second Team
F – Mike Hardman, West Kelowna Warriors
F – Nick Granowicz, Merritt Centennials
F – Matt Holmes, Chilliwack Chiefs

D – Layton Ahac, Prince George Spruce Kings
D – Aiden Hansen-Bukata, Nanaimo Clippers

G – Logan Neaton, Prince George Spruce Kings

All-Rookie Team
F – Kent Johnson, Trail Smoke Eaters
F – Kevin Wall, Chilliwck Chiefs
F – Matt Holmes, Chilliwack Chiefs

D – Nick Bochen, Prince George Spruce Kings
D – Pito Walton, Coquitlam Express
