Chilliwack – Chilliwack RCMP were first brought to a house on Second and Young on Wednesday October 25, after concerns about either shots fired or fireworks went off.
As the investigation continued, drugs and firearms were seized after Chilliwack RCMP executed a search warrant.
On Wednesday November 1st, investigators from the Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) supported by the Prolific Offender Suppression Team (POST) executed a Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA) search warrant on a residence and outbuildings in the 46000 block of Second Avenue in Chilliwack.
Two firearms, one of which was loaded, and what is believed to be methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin were seized during the search.
Three people were detained, and have been released with a future court date.
