Abbotsford Robbery On Bradner – APD Pictures

Abbotsford, BC – On Sunday, December 6, 2015 at 5:45 pm, the Abbotsford Police Department received a call reporting a robbery at a convenience store in the 5400 block of Bradner Road.

Four male suspects had arrived at the store wearing masks and at least one of them was brandishing a baseball bat (see photo 1).

A female working in the store observed the suspects and ran from the store screaming. This alerted her husband who came to assist her. Three of the suspects quickly fled the area in an older, 4-door, grey coloured sedan. The fourth suspect was abandoned by his accomplices. He attempted to strike the male victim with a baseball bat prior to fleeing the area on foot. The male victim returned to the store to call police. The female victim flagged down a motorist in a newer model, white pickup truck. She and the driver confronted the suspect as he continued to make his way northbound on Bradner Road. The suspect had removed his mask and pretended to be not associated with the robbery. The driver and victim then returned to the store.

The suspect (on foot) is described as a Caucasian male in his 20’s with a thin build. He is approximately 5’4” tall and was wearing dark clothing (see photo 2).

Abbotsford Police Department investigators are seeking information about this robbery and would like to speak with the driver of the white pickup truck who assisted the female victim. Anyone with information should contact the Abbotsford Police Department at 604-859-5225 or text us at 222973 (abbypd) or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
