Surrey – Darien Craighead had the decisive goal and a helper while Matteo Esposito made all 29 saves in a 4-0 Chilliwack Chiefs road win over the Surrey Eagles. Craighead scored 1:24 into the first and later assisted on a Dennis Cholowski goal. Mitch Skapski and Jeremy Germain had the other Chiefs goals. Esposito’s shutout was his second of the season.
The Chiefs have a rare Saturday night off but return to the Prospera Centre ice on Sunday afternoon at 5PM for a tilt with the Alberni Valley Bulldogs. You can skate with the team after the game !
