Kent – Harrison – From Harrison Hot Springs Fire Department: Due to the hot temperatures, the Central Community Church at 514 Lillooet Ave will be opening as a Cooling Centre on Monday, July 8th, and Tuesday, July 9th, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to come and stay cool during these hours.
From Kent – A cooling centre is available to the public at the Friendship House (7272 Morrow Road), from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, July 8 and 9. Pets are permitted and must be always under the full control of their owner. A transit stop is conveniently located in front of the Friendship House.
