Cultus Lake’s Recce Howden Finishes Fourth and 11th at Ski Cross Event – Reiteralm Austria – Back on Top of World Cup Standings

Cultus Lake – (With files from FIS/Alpine Canada/Barb Presseau) – On Saturday February 24, Cultus Lake’s Reece Howden finished fourth at the FIS Ski Cross Event in Reiteralm (AUT). Reece is back on top of the World Cup standings.

On Sunday Reece finished 11th. Day two saw warm weather with the snow, hard and fast. Almost every race saw someone flying off the course with the corners being very difficult to maneuver.

The weather is playing a factor for the following FIS Ski Cross Race. Next stop on the World Cup Tour in Feldberg, Germany has been canceled due to warm conditions. (was to have been February 29 and March 1).

ORIGINAL STORY – Next up for the FIS Ski Cross Circuit and Cultus Lake’s Reece Howden is Reiteralm (AUT) for races Feb 24 and 25 (Saturday and Sunday – Both start at 3AM PT.

Howden is only one point out of top spot overall.
