Abbotsford/Coquitlam – On Saturday night, February 17 (@ 7PM), AbbyPD patrol officers responded to a reported robbery in the 3600 block of Townline Rd. Abbotsford.
Upon arrival, officers located a lone male who had sustained a gunshot wound. The victim has since been transported to the hospital.
With the assistance of RCMP Air 1 Helicopter and other law enforcement partners, the victims vehicle was located in Coquitlam and the parties believed to be responsible have been arrested by police.
Following the arrests, there is believed to be no risk to the public.
The Abbotsford Police Department’s Major Crime Unit, with support from patrol, is in the early stages of the investigation piecing together what factors led up to the event.
