From Chilliwack-Kent MLA Kelli Paddon: It was a pleasure to join Chilliwack Search and Rescue for the groundbreaking of their new building! Congratulations to the CSAR on the groundbreaking of their new building! This is so well deserved for a team that does so much for our community. I know this was a joint community effort, and it’s a great example of what we can accomplish when we work together. Thank you to all the staff and volunteers at CSAR for everything you do to keep us safe!

The City of Chilliwack will contribute $1 million towards this project. The fundraising target is also $1 Million. donate@chilliwacksar.org. The facility is slated for Williams and 5th. Currently the SAR office is one block over on Nowell.
