Abbotsford, BC – Tradex is all abuzz with the annual Pacific Agriculture Show. The show wraps up on Saturday January 30th.
While FVN staff were taking pictures, it was interesting that no one really wanted to talk about the controversy over “special events or weddings” on farms. A white paper on the situation and the rules involved was extended from November 30, 2015 to January 15, 2016. Since then , the ALC Agriculture Land Commission, nor the Ministry of Agriculture have not commented.
Ministry staff at Tradex as well as BC Agriculture Council staff manning their respective booths, could give a hard and fast answer to our questions.
