Sears Chilliwack – End of an Era in VIDEOS – Former Employees Say Goodbye

Chilliwack – This week, the Sears building at Cottonwood Centre came down to the wrecking crew. The new Canadian Tire will rise in its place and is expected to be open in late 2022 with 130,000 square feet of space.

There are plenty of rumours that COSTCO will move into the old Canadian Tire on Vedder, but we stress, those are rumours at this point.

Sears sat empty since January 2018.

Video blogger Arnold Nicholas captured video of the demolition of the building and a gathering of former Sears employees who said goodbye to the landmark building.
