Chilliwack – In celebration of BC Rivers Day, the Chilliwack/Vedder River Cleanup Society will host a restricted river cleanup.
The event at Chilliwack Fish and Game Club will be a smaller scale and according to any Public Health Orders (PHO) that are in place at that time.
Registration will be a PRE-REGISTRATION only as are limiting this cleanup to 100 volunteers and is adults only.

For the Adopt-A-River Partners please let organizers know if you will be able to tackle your section on or around September 26th.
COVID-19 safety protocol is as follows:
- You must wear a mask when registering and dropping off your garbage (non-negotiable)
- You must use the provided hand-sanitizer before registering
- You must practice physical distancing on site at the Chilliwack Fish and Game Club
- There is to be no lingering on site at the Chilliwack Fish and Game Club (48685 Chilliwack Lake Rd)
Washrooms will be available.
Organizers will provide you with gloves, bags, and pick-up sticks.
Registration would be 8:30-9am and expect everyone back at the bins no later than 1pm.
