Ottawa – Sometime common sense, or the lack of it, just makes you shake your head.
The Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre has had to issue a scam alert.
DON’T Buy COVID-19 Vaccines On Line.
The CAFC has received reports on scams and frauds linked to COVID-19 vaccines. Do not buy COVID-19 vaccines online or from unauthorized sources. The only way to access safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines is through clinics organized or endorsed by your local public health authority in collaboration with Canada’s federal, provincial and territorial governments. Learn about vaccines that are approved for use in Canada.
If you have information about unapproved or counterfeit vaccines you should also report it to Health Canada.
