Rambo Carving Unveiled In Hope

Hope – Hey it’s a natural.It WAS filmed there.

Rambo (First Blood) was released in 1982 (39 years ago) and artist Ryan Viliers has been praised for his art work. Even die hard (pardon the pun) Rambo fan and Global television weather guru Mark Madryga showed up for the unveiling.

I was very fortunate to witness the unveiling of the Rambo carving today in Hope BC.. First Blood was filmed 39 years ago and hit the theaters in 1982. I think the carver did it justice,

And of course, the man behind the Rambo Tourism push, Brian McKinney: Got to spend this special day for Hope, B.C. with this gal! She’s been along side me every step of the way on this crazy First Blood, Rambo, whatever you want to call it journey! #proudtoliveinhopebc
