2019 Fall Radio Ratings – Vancouver

Vancouver (With files from David Bray, Broadcast Dialogue, Numeris, Radio West) – Radio ratings, especially in the fall, are a major source of information and a report card for radio stations as they go out to sell their advertising time.

Fraser Valley ratings are done with a on line ballot system and those results are expected shortly.

The Fall “numbers” for Vancouver are using PPM or personal people meters which you literally carry and they record what you are listening to… from the car to the mall to home.

These numbers are 2+ so anyone older than 2 is registered.

From Radio Consultant David Bray – CBC Radio One grabs the #1 spot for A12+ with a 16.0% share of hours tuned (down from 16.9%). Taking the top spot for F25-54 was QM-FM, posting a 15.7% share (down from 17.3% last time out). CFOX grabs the lead for M25-54 listeners, delivering a 14.8% share (up from 13.1%). The FOX is well out in front for M18-34 with a 21.2 % share of hrs. tuned (up from 16.1%). When it comes to Females 18-34, KiSS takes top spot, posting a 10.8 % share, followed by Rock 101 with 10.3%
