Harrison Mills – Early Friday morning (November 8 @7:15AM), an inmate escaped from Kwìkwèxwelhp Healing Village, a minimum security federal institution near Harrison Mills.
The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) immediately contacted the Agassiz detachment of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), and a warrant for his arrest was issued.
Just after 9 AM the same day, Roger Sampson was apprehended by police. CSC is conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
CSC and RCMP are not commenting further.
