Chilliwack – The Chilliwack Metis Association in partnership with the Indigenous Student Centre at the University of the Fraser Valley Chilliwack Campus will host author Kelly Saunders at the Aboriginal Gathering Place 45190 Caen Ave. on Thursday, November 14.
Admission is by donation and Kelly will be on hand to sign her newly released book Metis Politics & Governance in Canada. Doors open at 6:30pm. Light refreshments and snacks will be served.

Kelly Saunders is an associate professor in the Department of Political Science at Brandon University. Her research on Metis Politics, the symbolism of Louis Riel, and Metis self-government has been published in the Canadian Journal of Native Studies, the Canadian Journal of Political Science and Canadian Public Administration.
