Wanna Be A Chilliwack Paid-on-Call Firefighter?

Chilliwack, BC – The City of Chilliwack is continuing its annual recruitment drive for Paid-on-Call (volunteer) firefighters for our community.

Qualified candidates should be physically fit, able to attend to emergency incidents 24/7, live and work within the community, and be able to attend the Recruit Training Program from approximately mid-November 2015 to March 2016. Once candidates complete the program, training is every Monday night throughout the year.

Applications are available on-line and at the Chilliwack Fire Department, located at #2-45950 Cheam Avenue. Applications will be accepted until October 13, 2015 and can be dropped off during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. except statutory holidays).

We will be holding an Information Night to give you an opportunity to come out, see what we are about, and ask questions:
