Agassiz Vigil – Friday, October 4 To Honour Missing, Murdered Indigenous Women

Agassiz/Kent – Over the past six years, a local vigil has been held to remember and honour Missing, Murdered Indigenous Women.

Once again this year, a moment of silence will be observed via the Agassiz United Church, Agassiz Social Justice Committee and the Native Women’s Association of Canada will once again participate in the Canada-wide Sisters in Spirit project.

This is for the 1,200+ missing and murdered Indigenous women across Canada.

Again this year, the vigil will be held at the Agassiz United Church and open to Indigenous and non-Indigenous people.

The vigil will take place on Friday, October 4 at 7PM at the Agassiz United Church (6860 Lougheed Highway)
