APD Heavy Response To Barricaded Male, Warrant Served

Abbotsford – On Wednesday evening around 9:30PM, Abbotsford Police conducted a follow up inquiry at a residence in the 2200 block of Sentinel Drive.

A male was located at the residence, but refused to exit the house when instructed, instead barricading himself in the garage.

A 3 ½ hour standoff ensued,with police entering the residence.

The suspect was taken into custody without further incident.Currently the male is facing a charge of Fail to comply with Recognizance.

Additional charges are pending.
