Kent/Agassiz – An open fire burning ban is now in effect within the District of Kent. No open burning larger than 0.5m x 0.5m (campfires) are allowed from midnight May 15 through to September 30.
Campfires are allowed outside of the town core with permit (available from municipal hall).
A campfire ban may come into effect later in the season dependent on weather and forest conditions.
