Chilliwack – The Coast Chilliwack Hotel is going through a transformation and the Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce welcomes the new owners, and their plans, and their wallets, with open arms.
On Friday, Chamber members and guests along with Mayor Ken Popove were at the Coast to celebrate as the hotel becomes the fifth Canadian property to officially become an APA GROUP signature hotel, showcasing APA’s urban-style amenities.
APA Group (Always Pleasant Amenities) is a Japanese hospitality group that operates APA Hotels. APA Hotels operates in Japan with more than 150 properties. APA recently expanded into the US in 2015. APA acquired the Vancouver-based Coast Hotels in 2016, that included the Chilliwack Coast Hotel.
There are plans to open more hotels in the United States in the future.
