Fraser Valley Marketing Agency First to Become B-Corp Certified (VIDEO)

Fort Langley- Fort Langley-based agency, Jelly Digital Marketing & PR is the first in the Fraser Valley to become a Certified B Corporation. Joining the lineup of over 2,700 companies worldwide, Jelly Marketing is being recognized as “meeting the highest standard of verified social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability” (bcorporation.net). Other local B-Corps include Fresh Prep Foods, Hootsuite, and Save On Meats.

Founder and Principal of Jelly Marketing, Darian Kovacs shares, “Receiving B-Corp Certification reassured Jelly’s main goal of bettering the society we live and work in. We believe in supporting the community, treating everyone as equals, and having the courage to change. All of these values were invested into our business model the moment the company came to life.”

Certified B Corporations are industry-leaders spearheading a movement to balance profit and purpose while setting goals to improve their social and environmental impact. Not only does this status attract potential clients, but also qualified talent that appreciates the values of a transparent and accountable organization. According to a survey conducted by Deloitte, 40% of Millennials believe that the top priority of a business should be to “improve society”.
