Chilliwack Fire – Stubborn Blaze On Prairie Central Road

Chilliwack – On Tuesday evening (April 30th @10PM) the Chilliwack Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire located in the 50000 block of Prairie Central Rd. On arrival fire crews reported seeing smoke and heavy flame from the exterior rear deck and roof structure of a two storey residential home. The fire was stubborn to fight as it was deep seated within the roof structure. The structure sustained smoke and fire damage to both the exterior and interior of the home.

Occupants were home at the time of the fire and quickly called 9-1-1. No one was hurt and the fire appears to be accidental.
