UFV Student Union Puts Out Release For Those Trying To Cope With Recent Shootings In New Zealand, Netherlands

Fraser Valley – You may think that news overseas may not effect students here in Canada, but that is not the case. University students have a lot on their plate and tragic news from the other side of the globe can hit them just as hard as anyone else.

With the recent violence in New Zealand and the Netherlands, UFV SUS put out this release about counselling:

Dear UFV Students,The past week has seen violence inNew Zealand and the Netherlands. Our deepest condolences go to the friends and families of the victims.

SUS works tirelessly to create a safe and inclusive environment that extends beyond our campus and into our communities.We will continue to fight against prejudice and hatred.
