Chilliwack – On Monday, Chilliwack Search and Rescue was activated for the second time in 24 hours This time to Hope to assist with some swift water technicians in the Othello Tunnels Canyon. A subject had managed get himself in a bit of a situation on he far side of the canyon.
Late Sunday, Chilliwack Search and Rescue headed back up on the popular Elk Mountain trail high above the city. This time on foot to assist two subjects who were under prepared for the conditions and the dark. The were located quickly and escorted safely off the mountain.
