Mission – Late Tuesday evening (December 18th, @11PM) Mission RCMP were called to a report of a stabbing. 2 Unknown suspects wearing masks attacked an adult male near the area of Cedar Street and 14th Avenue in Mission (32000 block of Badger Avenue).
The adult male suffered multiple stab wounds to his face and was transported to hospital where he is currently in stable condition.
There are reports that the victim was in his teens, and was known to police.
The investigation is in its early stages. Based on the information gathered to date, the police believe this was a targeted attack and the risk to the public is very low.
