Vancouver Police Museum – Traffic Exhibit Opens November 1

Vancouver – The Vancouver Police Museum & Archives is pleased to announce the opening of its new exhibition: Behind the Lines: A Traffic Story explores 100-years of Traffic Enforcement in our city. See what challenges the Vancouver Police faced with the emergence of the automobile. Step behind the lines to see how traffic laws came into existence, how they evolve over the years, and how technology helps keep our roads safe.

On Thursday, November 1st, the museum will open its doors to the public, inviting all to come and see the exhibit free of charge. At 3:00 pm join Chief Palmer and the rest of the VPD outside the museum for speeches and performances by the VPD Lion Dance Team, VPD Motorcycle Drill Team and a VPD Pipe Band piper. Or join us on social media at #Traffic100.

The Museum’s Facebook page can be found here.
