Chilliwack – The Chilliwack Vedder River Cleanup Society will be hosting the BC Rivers Day celebration in Chilliwack on Sunday September 23rd. You are invited to join the celebration at the Chilliwack Fish and Game Club House at 48685 Chilliwack Lake Road.
- Registration starts at 8:30am.
- Clean-up runs until Noon
- BBQ and Prize Raffle to follow, and you must be present to win.
A collection of not-for-profit organizations will have displays, so please check them out and learn more about the contribution they are making in our community.
We extend a huge thank you to the people and organizations participating in the Adopt-A-River Program.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS
- This event goes rain or shine
- Wear sturdy footwear
- Please bring a travel mug and/or water bottle so that you can enjoy the refreshments provided by the Chilliwack Water Store and Tim Hortons. We will not be providing any single use cups at the cleanup. Our apologies in advance for any inconvenience but we need to eliminate single use cups completely.
