Ridge Meadows RCMP Looking Into A Fire At A Local Shelter

Maple Ridge  – Ridge Meadows RCMP are investigating a fire which occurred at a local shelter.

On Thursday afternoon (@5PM, June 28) RCMP were contacted by Maple Ridge Fire Department requesting assistance with traffic control while they dealt with a commercial structure fire at 22188 Lougheed Highway. Once the flames were extinguished and the scene made safe, it was determined the fire was the result of human action. No injuries were reported.

The investigation is in the early stages and police are requesting any witnesses who were in the area around this time to please contact them at 604-463-6251.
